Great value, ton of memory, large HDD, killer processor, maximizes network bandwith for downloads Bought this as a home system to be used for normal applications and gaming as well. It has far surpassed my expectations on the gaming front. Runs quietly, boots easily, no hesitation during online gaming. The graphics are nice, and it pairs well with the 27" ASUS monitor I purchased.

I just purchased this desktop CPU (got it from J and R for a cheaper price than Amazon) and I love it! It replaces a Dell XPS CPU that I hated. The fan in the Dell was so loud it sounded like an outboard motor. The first thing I noticed when I started up the Asus was how whisper quiet this unit is. Out of the box set up was a breeze. I was able to keep my Dell flat screen monitor and keyboard (this unit doesn't come with a monitor, but unlike a similarly configured Dell XPS it does offer a keyboard, a mouse and more power for a cheaper price). This is my first time purchasing an Asus product and I'm glad I did. It took about five minute to take it out of the box, plug everything up and go. This desktop offers plenty of USB and other ports, card readers and headphone jacks right on the front of the computer so you never have to turn this thing around to plug stuff into the back. It has an empty expansion bay ready for upgrades. I'm really pleased with the speed of the unit and the lack of bloatware most computers come with these days. I'm really happy with my purchase. Be forewarned though, if you're tight on space, this sucker is HUGE!

Powerful i7 cpu, 16 GB ram, 2TB HD, graphic card with HDMI, DV output capable of running 2 monitors, Blueray DVD. The lowest rating in the windows performance evaluation is due to the 7200 RPM HD. Realtek high def audio output can be configured in various configurations up to 7.1 speakers. Entire system runs very quietly. Fairly low amount of crapware installed (other than windows 8). Qualifier: I've been using the system for almost 1 month and am having an adjustment comfortably multitasking and switching between programs. FIY I did find a very similar ASUS configured machine with windows 7 installed, however I opted for the future.
