The Computer comes with Windows 8, it says in Specs, so who ever orders any PC with this OS, please do your home work by learning some basics about new interface and new features that most people are not too happy with. I am one of them.
The DVD writer on this system works loud when burning DVD's and also during some (but not all) playback.
The newer type of BIOS that this sytem has for some reason does not recognize Bootable disks with other Operating System (Windows 7 for example) other than Recovery Disks. Even when trying to change to boot order in BIOS it doesn't see the DVD room while bootable disk is inserted (again that works in other computer systems).
This BIOS can only see the bootable Recovery disks.
Their tech support - is not always understandable, and helpful.
Very unhappy with compatability, and loud DVD writer, returning the system.

We are replacing our PC's in our office and this seemed like a good choice, a good value and had good reviews. With so many ever changing models to choose from, making a choice is not easy. We own several different models of HP PC's and they have all performed well. We don't use them for heavy duty graphics or number crunching or media storage, so our demand is not that great. With HP being #1, they have scale and therefore should know how to build a quality PC at a good price point.
